The Senior Center offers a variety of programs for seniors 55 and older; most activities are free to any member of the community. Many neighborhood and community groups also meet at the Center, and it serves as a regular polling place for city elections.
We have a full array of regular
fitness classes, including Yoga, Tai Chi, FItness and Flexibility, Line Dancing, as well as water aerobics in the summer, plus Wii fitness and a regular Walking Club.
We offer a nutritious and tasty
lunch Monday - Friday for a suggested donation of $3.00 for those 60 and over.
Other programs include regular art classes, various intergenerational projects with local schools and home-schooled children, nutrition and cooking demos, story-telling, music, computer access and for a small fee, weekly massage and monthly foot care. There is ni membership fee, but donations are always welcome.
The Center is also available to rent for private and community events.
